CSW2018: The holistic media and gender agenda

An analysis and key findings of the 2018 GAMAG position papers

GAMAG in collaboration with UNESCO organised a side event at the 62nd Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) to discuss position papers on gender and media (see sample here)  prepared by members of the Alliance.

Acciones GAMAG América Latina 2017

Durante el año 2017, GAMAG América Latina amplió su lista de integrantes a casi 100 personas de 12 países; abrió perfiles en redes sociales, participó en diversas actividades en diferentes países y se preparó para incidir sobre la 62 Sesión de la Comisión para la Condición Jurídica y Social de la Mujer de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (CSW62).

GAMAG América Latina en Encuentro de Mujeres Periodistas de…

Sandra Chaher, coordinadora para América Latina de la Alianza Global de Medios y Género (GAMAG) explicó los alcances de la Alianza y sus expectativas en relación a la CSW62 durante el III Encuentro de Mujeres Periodistas de Uruguay que se realizó los días 20 y 21 de octubre de 2017 en Montevideo, Uruguay, organizado por la Red de Mujeres Periodistas de ese país, la asociación civil Cotidiano Mujer y la Asociación de la Prensa Uruguaya.

GAMAG América Latina participó del EFLAC 2017

El Capítulo de América Latina de la Alianza Mundial de Medios y Género (GAMAG) coordinó junto a otras tres organizaciones feministas de la región el “Taller sobre Comunicación y Género- Debates y perspectivas”, realizado en noviembre del 2017 en el 14 Encuentro Latinoamericano Feminista (EFLAC) de Montevideo, Uruguay.
