‘Cómo combatir el borrado de la violencia de género desde el periodismo’
***El jueves 30 se celebrará en Zamora la V Jornada de Violencia de Género y Medios de Comunicación

En la estela del 25-N, Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la Mujer, la Asociación de Periodistas Feministas de Castilla y León (APFCyL) y la Delegación del Gobierno en Castilla y León organizan el próximo jueves 30 de noviembre la V Jornada de Violencia de Género y Medios de Comunicación, que se celebrará en Zamora (Centro Cultural Palacio de la Alhóndiga, plaza de Santa Ana, 7) con el título de ‘Cómo combatir el borrado de la violencia de género desde el periodismo’.
Se podrá participar tanto de manera presencial como virtual. En ambos casos se necesita inscripción.
En la jornada participarán la periodista, escritora y docente experta en feminismo Nuria Varela, que hablará de ‘La asignatura pendiente de los medios de comunicación: Cómo contar (bien) las violencias machistas’; Ana Gaitero, presidenta de la Asociación de Periodistas Feministas de Castilla y León e integrante del Secretariado de GAMAG Europa; Laura Cornejo (Eldiario.es) e Isabel Valdés (corresponsal de género en El País) con su conversatorio ‘¿Qué hacemos en las redacciones frente al negacionismo? Las buenas prácticas existen’; y Elena Martín (periodista salmantina), Isabel Escribano (Plataforma Colombine) y Susana Arizaga (Asociación de la Prensa de Zamora), que abordarán en mesa redonda las ‘Redes de periodistas y nuevas herramientas de información con perspectiva de género’.

In the event will participate the journalist, writer and teacher expert in feminism Nuria Varela, who will talk about ‘The unfinished business of the media: How to tell (well) sexist violence’; Ana Gaitero, president of the Association of Feminist Journalists of Castilla y León and member of the GAMAG Europe Secretariat; Laura Cornejo (Eldiario.es) and Isabel Valdés (gender correspondent in El País) with their discussion ‘What do we do in the newsrooms against denialism? Good practices exist’; and Elena Martín (journalist from Salamanca), Isabel Escribano (Plataforma Colombine) and Susana Arizaga (Association of the Press of Zamora), who will address in a round table the ‘Networks of journalists and new information tools with gender perspective’.
